Michael Shore is President and CEO of HOM, Inc., a leader in permanent housing solutions for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. HOM, Inc., partners with nonprofit and public agencies to operate Permanent Supportive Housing and Rapid Rehousing programs to stably house over 4,800 formerly homeless households throughout Arizona. Recognizing the need to leverage technology in expanding housing opportunities for those he serves, Michael co-founded Padmission in March 2019. Padmission provides technology products and professional services that enable and automate business processes of housing program administration. Padmission’s web-based landlord engagement and housing search platform helps connect participants in homeless housing programs with property owners and vacant units in communities and is used by homeless services systems in over thirty communities nationally. Michael translated his long-held vision of a proactive, regional, systems-level landlord engagement service in 2021, launching Threshold, Maricopa County’s first-ever centralized landlord engagement service for homeless housing programs in the Maricopa Regional Continuum of Care. Threshold engages property owners and managers as active partners in solving homelessness to develop effective and responsive approaches that meet their needs while expanding housing opportunities and creating stronger, better communities for all.
