Savana Milroy
Savana Milroy (she/her) is a Peer Supervisor at Morrison Child and Family Services- Parent Mentor Program. In this role, Savana supports Parent Mentors working with families who are involved with ODHS Child Welfare with navigating the system with the goal of reunification and recovery from substance use disorder. Savana comes with lived experiences of navigating the Child Welfare system, substance use disorder, domestic violence survivor, and chronic houselessness, which is used to connect with and support the parents served in the community with empathy and understanding. Savana currently serves as an Advisory Committee Member for the Keeping Families Together Supportive Housing Project coming to Marion County, where she draws from her lived experiences to provide input for the project.
